Hi! I am a Lethbridge-based UX and data visualization designer / puzzle solver who likes to do a little bit of everything.
I’ve been a data visualization designer since 2021, a UX designer long before I knew the term or that it was a profession, and lately have been into data physicalization.
I enjoy being able to use my technical, design, and UX (user experience) skills to understand complex topics and simplify them for a general audience in a way that makes sense. Understanding how things are connected, paying attention to the little details, and improving processes to make people’s lives easier is my jam.
Things my brain likes
I can’t seem to sit still, and love taking on new challenges. I play in a world music group where I rock out on the steel pan and hit big drums (seriously, so cathartic). My garden turns into a jungle every summer, I run distances I used to think only crazy people ran, and lose play many games of crib. The rest of the time is spent baking, learning new sudoku variants, or finding the perfect gif for any scenario.
